Facts on World of Warcraft Alliances

World of Warcraft alliances are one of the primary separations in the video game. The other option is the hordes, and your choice will affect how you will play the game. If you are an alliance member, you cannot go on a raid with a Tauren Druid, while a horde member cannot visit Stormwind. You might think that a lot of differences exist between these two factions, but really, there are only three things that separate both of them. These are the classes, the races and the first twenty five levels of the game.

The defining factor on the two factions is is the race. They are set apart by their appearance, so you will not see a Tauren on the alliance or a Draenei on the Horde. If you are new to the video game, the appearance of the race may make a difference in your choice of side if you do not have any ties with a friend who is also in the game. A lot of players are known to choose the alliance because of the better appearance of the characters. Those who like untamed and rugged appearances, though, may choose the hordes instead.

Before the expansion of the Burning Crusade, classes were a big deal. At one certain point in the game, you could only be a Shaman if you are a Horde while you could only become a Paladin if you are an alliance member. This has been changed in the Burning Crusade, though, as you could become a Shaman even if you are a Draenei on the side of the Alliance, or a Paladin even if you are one of the Blood Elves on the Horde side. In Cataclysm, other classes that cannot be played before will be added to the other races.

There can be a wild difference for each faction on the first thirty levels of the game. You are going to begin on the starting zone for your chosen race on the first five levels. After completing the required quests, you are going to move to the newbie zone until you reach level ten. As the zones go, an additional five to ten levels will be given for each zone. This can be on your race only or on the faction around you so that you will have company. You will be able to go to zones such as Vale, Stranglethorn and Ashenvale when you reach level twenty five or more.
